Carlo Ferraro
President/General Coordination
Metalworking entrepreneur, with a passion for technology and computer science, after having worked as an employee in the IT sector, in 2002 he buys some shares of a small steelworking company, born as a spin off of the Prima Industrie. In 2008 he founds his first metalworking company, Laserlam Ltd., and in 2012 Iris Ltd with Manuel Lai. In 2014 he starts thinking about a back to nature project and in 2016 he founds Ambornetti Ltd.
Manuel Lai
Technical Coordination
Chemical Engineer, he starts his career at Fiat Research Center, dealing with innovation and technologies. After 18 years he founds Iris Ltd, where he develops and patents a domestic
system for water and waste treatment (Greenplasma Hot/Cold). In the last two years he has worked with the most important European entities that deal with research, innovation and technology for project concerning additive manufacturing.
Antonio De Rossi
Architecture Coordination
Architect e PhD, he is a tenured professor in architecture design and director of the Institute for Mountain Architecture research centre at DAD–Turin Polytechnic University. He carried out several projects in Ostana. Among his books, “Alpine contemporary architecture” (2012) and “Building in the Alps. 1900 and alpine modernism 1917-2017” (2014). He lives at the foot of the Cotian Alps, at the entrance of the Waldesian alps.
Project design and engineering
Ambornetti project was developed by a highly qualified team of architects, engineers and geologists with specialization in construction of mountain building, sustainable design, reuse and valorization of local resources (wood and stone) and innovative energy systems.
Also, a network of professionals specializing in restaurant coordination, sales & marketing and communication collaborated in drafting the resort business plan.
